Reality Slap - Or not

What will I be doing in 10 years time? Who will I be?  Where will life take me? What would I achieve?

Yep these are just some of the questions that cloud my mind, its funny because a few  years back I never even thought about them once, I use to just go about my day without having to worry about the future.(see that`s the plus side to being an innocent child).

The whole prospect of  what the future holds just scars the life out of me sometimes! I try not to think about it too much but its kinda hard not to when your Chemistry teacher is constantly nagging you about how your falling behind; I am currently studying AS Level Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Law (weird mixture I know). I wanted to do Forensic Chemistry until I went to my first Chemistry lesson LOL, that was a wake up call! Its not really about the fact that I can`t handle the subject its more to do with the fact that I dislike almost everything about the subject. So after a long quite think and a bit a research I decided to change my career option to Forensic Biology, one because I enjoy biology and two because its still within the forensic field.

A friend said to me once "your only 17, why choose a career option so early on?

After a long thoughtful pause, I said (more to my self than my friend),  whats the point in studying if you haven`t got goals to achieve. Its a bit like driving a car whilst blind folded (well at least that's my idea of it)- Anyway point I am trying to make is I like to plan  a head.

I totally lost track about the whole reality slap thing have`t I (give me a break, I just done an essay on Coastal management for Geography, can`t blame me) O_O

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, yeah this blogging thing is actually quite useful after all, feel a whole lot better after that rant lol. Hey don`t be so harsh on me  its my first blog (kinda feel out of my comfort zone), not sure how this thing works but I`ll soon get the hang of it!

  1. There really is no such thing as you're too young to start thinking about your future. :) I see nothing wrong in knowing what you want. AND i also see nothing wrong in NOT knowing how to get what you want. You're 17, you are supposed to be clueless. But i think the fact that you're wondering, it means you're on the right track. :)

Cool first blogpost. Way better than mine. :P Looking forward for more from you :D
